Strange Attractor’s sound consists of Zappa-like keyboard and guitar configurations in a variety of progressive rock moods and the effect is energizing. Tremmel’s vocals are at once serious and humorous, which is a state only a master performer can pull off. The music is heavy enough to head bang to, while being both musically and lyrically intelligent enough to stimulate the brain cells as they shake around. There are big synthesized eruptions that conjure up Pink Floyd-like images and weirdo melodies that sound like space rock you’d hear in Star Wars. It’s cool stuff!
 
Their album ‘Blow Hole’ does manage to evoke the same adventurous spirit that characterizes their live shows, which is brilliant. This is one of those bands that you wish you could sign and record in a studio worthy of their musicianship. These guys are refreshingly creative and worthy of the attention of local music fans.
